Bernie Sanders Identifies Which Lady of The View Is His Celebrity Crush
There’s no denying that the focus of the 2016 Presidential election has sharply shifted to New York State. Just a week-and-a-half ahead of the state-wide primary, candidates like Bernie Sanders are actively campaigning in Manhattan, demonstrating their subway-riding skills, and showing off the all-important reveal of how they eat pizza.
During a Friday morning appearance on ABC’s The View, Sanders faced the usual peppering of Big Apple-centric questions (he even showed that he can fold and bite into his pizza slice… the way you should). At one point the ladies on The View‘s panel switched gears to some personal questions, including his celebrity crush. The self-described Democratic-Socialist did not have to look far however to make his pick, glancing to his right and saying simply, “Joy.”
Joy Behar immediately started fanning herself at the reveal which drew a big applause from the studio audience. The women on the show also asked the 74-year-old for his favorite fictional president, and as any fan of the iconic Aaron Sorkin series would emphatically corroborate, the correct answer is Martin Sheen‘s Jed Bartlet from The West Wing.
