On Fox’s Outnumbered today, the panelists took on partisanship.
Harris Faulkner said she was “confused” by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer‘s opposition to the nomination of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court. She noted that plenty of people who served in former President Barack Obama‘s administration liked Gorsuch, so the partisan insistence on blocking the nominee made no sense to her.
Ari Fleischer shrugged it off, calling Schumer a broken record who cries right-wing extremism too often.
“When did the trend start, like what Chuck Schumer just did, where every Republican and every conservative — Gorsuch by anybody’s standard is the rightful heir to Justice [Antonin] Scalia‘s seat, but every Republican is like the Babadook,” Meghan McCain said in reference to the terrifying 2014 film. “It’s like the most demon, evil, horror-movie person you can find. You’re so vilified for simply being conservative.”
