Former CNN Contributor Mark Geragos Says ‘Lame-Ass’ Network Should Be Renamed ‘Cut and Run Network’
Attorney Mark Geragos ripped into CNN after they recently let him go from the network for being a co-conspirator of Michael Avenatti in a alleged plot to extort Nike.
“They ought to change their name to the ‘Cut and Run Network,’” Geragos told Adam Carolla on his show on Tuesday. “I’ve been texted by all of their anchors who are as outraged as I am that after 20 years, a press conference is enough to have them immediately want to disassociate themselves.”
“God forbid that I start telling some of the stories for how I’ve covered for that lame-ass organization,” he continued.
He also gave the nickname, the “Know-Nothing Network” because they cut ties with him shortly after it was reported he was Avenatti’s co-conspirator.
Geragos maintained CNN’s bookers and anchors have been lobbying for him to be able to return to the network to talk about Jussie Smollett, who he has represented in his own case with allegedly staging a hate crime against himself.
Avenatti was arrested this week and was charged with extortion over allegations that he tried to extract more than $20 million from Nike.
