Megyn Kelly Says She Would Have No Interest in Joining Trump Administration
A bunch of big faces on Fox News are being considered for potential roles in the Donald Trump administration, but Megyn Kelly would like no part of that.
Kelly spoke with AdWeek yesterday about how big a year it’s been for her and what her next steps are.
“I’m seriously considering my future and I do feel very grateful that I have a spot at Fox News,” she said. “I have to figure this one out and give it all the consideration it deserves because I’ve got these three little people with me who I really love and want to see as well.”
While Trump has spoken with many media figures since the election, Kelly said she’s not one of them. She’s hopeful that the president-elect will sit down with her soon, though she did note she’s “corresponded with Ivanka.”
And then Kelly was asked if she would consider a role in the Trump administration. This was her response:
No. No, I think first of all that’s a younger person’s game. But second of all I don’t need that kind of aggravation in my life, and I have a great job that I don’t want to give up.
Kelly also opened up about the behind-the-scenes at Fox amid the Roger Ailes harassment scandal, saying she was “livid” when what she told investigators about Ailes was leaked.
