Rand Paul Releases ‘Secret Tape’ of Hillary-Jeb Phone Call

On Thursday afternoon, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) tweeted this cryptic message to his followers, purporting to reveal a “secret” phone call between possible 2016 presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush:

The audio, found on Paul’s official Soundcloud page, consists of what appears to be a scripted conversation between Clinton and Bush impersonators, hired by his political organization RAND PAC to mock the idea of Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton dynasty in America.

“Maybe we can work something out,” Hillary tells Jeb on the tape. “We both agree on so many issues! Bigger government, common core, and amnesty for illegal immigrants!”

“Well, we’ve both got problems,” Jeb replies. “You’ve got problems with the grassroots and I’ve got all those damn conservatives. What say, we make a deal.”

In the end, Bush gets another call from Paul’s third most-hated potential candidate: Mitt Romney. Welcome to the new face of political advertising.
