President Trump addressed the prospect of an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal earlier this morning as he met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

In comments to the press, Trump commented on how this deal could be “the toughest of all,” but he expressed optimism that there’s a chance he can get it done:

“We’ll see if we can put it together. Who knows? Stranger things have happened. But I think we have a good chance.”
