Trump Touts Record Low African American Unemployment Rate: ‘Dems Did Nothing For You’

Monday morning, back to work. And for President Donald Trump, that apparently means some “executive time” watching his pals at Fox & Friends, and sharing his thoughts on his favorite social media platform.

At 9:20 a.m. ET, the president fired off a tweet touting the African American unemployment rate — which, according to the Associated Press, just hit a record low.

“African American unemployment is the lowest ever recorded in our country,” Trump wrote. “The Hispanic unemployment rate dropped a full point in the last year and is close to the lowest in recorded history. Dems did nothing for you but get your vote!”

That same statistic — not at all coincidentally — was touted on Fox & Friends at 8:17 a.m. ET Monday. Did the president step away at some point, and was he forced to catch up with this morning’s show via DVR? Or is he simply replaying his favorite parts?
