Donny Deutsch Challenges Trump to a Fight: ‘I’ll Meet You in the Schoolyard’

Donny Deutsch already had one passionate tangent against Donald Trump earlier today, but he took things up another notch as he continued to slam the president for personally attacking his colleagues.

Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough delayed their vacation plans in order to get back on the set of Morning Joe and react to the president’s tweet against them yesterday. As the panel discussed how congressional Republicans need to hold Trump accountable for his conduct, Deutsch decided to “elevate the conversation” by challenging the “coward” to a fight.

“Donald if you’re watching, we’re from Queens. I’ll meet you in the schoolyard, brother,” said Deutsch.

Deutsch got pushback from his compatriots right away, and Scarborough voiced that nothing will fix the insanity in Washington until Republicans stop turning a blind eye and people learn to treat others with respect. Brzezinski bemoaned how the current blow-up just goes to show how easily Trump can be goaded.

“It’s not about being new to the presidency, you’d have to be new to humanity to know not to say something like that,” said panelist Willie Geist. “Not just to a woman, to another human being, and especially when you’re the most famous person now on the face of the Earth, and most powerful.”
