Eric Bolling Rips CNN Over Report on Reddit User: ‘Tony Soprano Would Be Proud’

CNN’s apparent threat to out a Reddit user who posted a video of President Donald Trump “wrestling” the CNN logo has drawn the ire of many conservatives.

Wednesday on Fox News Specialists, Eric Bolling joined the growing chorus on the right tearing into CNN, their KFILE reporting unit, and that unit’s leader — Andrew Kaczynski.

Bolling said Kaczynski “should at least be reprimanded, if not more. That guy has been an Internet bully for years.”

He added, “Tony Soprano would be proud.”

Bolling found support from the rest of the panel. Kat Timpf called it “petty and weird” of CNN to tease the possibility that they might one day out the Redditor.

“So we’re not gonna expose you for now, but we might?” Timpf said. “Does that mean you’re going to be following this guy, using your resources to follow this guy? Make sure he lives the whole rest of his life with a CNN cloud over his head? ‘Maybe I’ll get in trouble.’ Come on!”

CNN’s statement today said, “CNN decided not to publish the name of the Reddit user out of concern for his safety. Any assertion that the network blackmailed or coerced him is false.”
