Your Moment Of Glenn: Van Jones Resignation Is Not A Victory

Picture 9If you were expecting Glenn Beck to gloat over Van Jones‘ weekend resignation you may be waiting for a while: “I am not the one to congratulate,” says Beck. So who is? You, the viewer, that’s who! And, if you were waiting to see who his next target is, the answer (for the time being, anyway) is…Van Jones! Who now may be more dangerous outside the White House than in, according to Beck. Also, the mainstream media who didn’t begin covering the story until this weekend (he does sort of have a point, there). On the whole, Beck’s response is strikingly subdued — Beck is nothing if not an excellent entertainer and he is a genius at knowing how to keep his audience coming back for more.

You call yourselves a media site, but you think that Beck only *sort of has a point* about the media ignoring the story?

    hmmm

I have to agree with sarainitaly. I hope Glynnis MacNicol was just being facetious when she said that Glenn Beck “does sort of have a point, there.” It is pretty sad the way the rest of the news media just ignored it, swept it under the rug, until they couldn’t ignore it anymore.
When stuff like this happens, it just gives the right more evidence for the whole “liberal media bias” thing.

This is cute and all, about this not being a victory for Glenn Beck, but who ya kidding?

This was a huge victory for Beck and the majority of people in this country. Sure Beck won’t gloat about it; no one with class ever would. To do so would be taking personal celebration for something done for the good of the country, which would be assinine.

Van Jones was/is a racist, self-touted communist. And somehow he was working in the White House of the USA, for a little while.
Insane yes, but no surprise with President Obama at the reigns.

@sarainitaly & Ben Linus, Are you really surprised by anything said in this post?

The MSM is jumping on the bandwagon to cover this story now, but only to defend Jones by presenting him as a “victim” as David Gergen did on AC360 on Monday:

“I think it’s a sad day to see a man of good work get so little credit. I mean, there’s no balance to understanding just how many good things he’s done.”

However, Gergen neglected to mention the fact that Jones is a self proclaimed communist who has made some racially charged comments among other outrageous remarks.

Wright, Pfleger, Michelle Obama, Holder, Gates, and Jones, we condemn these individuals for their conduct and race baiting attitudes, but look who they all have in common? Barack Obama.
