Jesse Ventura To Lou Dobbs: ‘It’s Not Our Government Anymore’

Lou Dobbs invited former Governor Jesse Ventura to appear on his show and both were completely disgusted with the TSA’s airport security measures. Dobbs called the practice of patting down young children at airports “outrageous,” “disgusting” and “un-American,” while Ventura used it as a launching pad to reveal his complete distrust of the entire government.

Ventura told Dobbs about his lawsuit against the TSA to stop such invasive airport searches from continuing. He is determined to “find out if the Fourth Amendment and if our Constitution and our Bill of Rights still exists in this country.” When Dobbs lamented that the federal agency is shameful, Ventura warned Dobbs “it’s not our government anymore.” Then Ventura turned to promoting his latest book and how the government made 16 million documents classified last year. Dobbs responded, “we have a government that is just simply out of control.”

Concluding the interview, Ventura said he will soon be traveling to Mexico, and Dobbs suggested he be careful given reports that it is dangerous for Americans to be traveling there now. Ventura, proving if nothing else that he is at least consistent, suggested that is “baloney” and that he doesn’t believe such government warnings.

How come it took you all these while to recognize that. By the way you are jumping on the bandwagon, because Ventura said so. I doubt you know the background to it? No, I don’t think so. Ventura is a great body of Alex Jones, and they both think 911 is an inside job. That is the background to what he is saying, so maybe next time before you jump onto the bandwagon, you might want to read what the book is about and his opinions.

Can you please show me proof where I thought the government was ours, or has been in recent times. You can’t because I haven’t. I don’t care if it was Carter, Reagan, Bush or Obama at the helm. This government serves it’s own self interest and that of huge corporations – it’s called corporatism which is not a free market system.

That’s why we need to go back to a less powerful, more limited government system. We are in a perpetual state of war which serves none of our interests. We bailout huge firms that deserve neither our respect or money. As the government’s power continues to grow under the guise of security (financial or terrorism) the individuals liberty is decreased.

P.S. While on Piers Morgan he said the U.S. caused the Japanese earthquake and that Cheney knew about and allowed 9/11 to happen. But he later retracted the latter. What a loon!

FINALLY I FOUND LOU DODDS WHEN HE LEFT HIS OTHER PROGRAM I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED AS THE MAN IS ABOUT THE ONLY HONEST GUY LEFT. BEFORE U JUDGE HIM LISTEN TO HIM. NOW THAT I KNOW HES ON FOX I WILL ALSO LISTEN.
