O’Reilly: Conservatives Should ‘Rethink’ Alternative Energy, Root for Tesla to Succeed

Bill O’Reilly took on both Obamacare and global warming Monday night, saying that the former could very well turn out to be a “chaotic disaster” and if it does, it will reflect how President Obama is viewed after he leaves office. O’Reilly joked that “sending Kathleen Sebelius back to Kansas” might have helped the process.

O’Reilly also took on global warming, saying that even if the U.N.’s sounding the alarms about it, “nobody really knows whether it’s true.” He mocked Brian Williams for painting a grim picture of the planet’s future and saying “you cannot destroy your economy… while embracing some kind of phantom global warming theory, even if that theory one day might be valid.”

However, O’Reilly did believe that using alternative energy sources is important, which is why he proclaimed, “Everybody on the planet should be rooting for Tesla.” He said conservatives should “rethink” their position on alternative energy, saying that the language of the “self-righteous, arrogant, and dumb” environmentalists shouldn’t dissuade them.
