Capitol Police Arrest Suspect in Doxing of Republican Senators

Capitol Police have arrested a Democratic congressional staffer as a suspect in the doxing of some Republican senators last week.

Personal information for Lindsey Graham, Mike Lee, and Orrin Hatch was posted on Wikipedia and spread around online this past Thursday, the day of the Brett Kavanaugh hearing. Gizmodo reported at the time the the USCP had been notified.

Tonight the Capitol Police is saying they arrested Jackson Cosko, a 27-year-old, for posting that information.

Politico reports that someone by that name had previously worked as a staffer for Democratic senators Maggie Hassan and Barbara Boxer, and he was an intern in the office of Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee.
