Check Out This Crazy Meteorologist Taking on Irma to Measure Hurricane’s Wind Speed

This morning, Hurricane Irma passed over the Florida Keys. And thanks to some crazy ass storm chasers, we know that winds reached a speed of well over 100 miles per hour.
In a video that has gone viral today, meteorologist Juston Drake can be seen jumping out of a car as the storm battered Saddlebunch Keys to use a handheld anemometer to measure the wind speed. Wearing a paintball mask, Drake stood with his arm raised as the wind blew him back.
As you can see in the video, Drake quickly lost his mask but he kept holding up his meter to get a good reading, all while the storm just beat the crap out of him.
But it wasn’t for naught, as he was able to get a measurement:
