Fox News yesterday made the call to show a still image of ISIS burning Jordanian pilot Muath al-Kasaesbeh; but they also posted the entire raw video on its website, in their online player.
Here’s a screen capture of the web page in question:
Now, it would be one thing if they just showed the part of the video where al-Kasaesbeh is burned alive, but again, they have all 22 minutes and 34 seconds of the propaganda video on its website.
And if the goal here, as with the still image, is to “bring you the reality of Islamic terrorism,” then why would the video not include English subtitles?
Fox News executive vice president John Moody issued this statement today explaining the decision:
After careful consideration, we decided that giving readers of FoxNews.com the option to see for themselves the barbarity of ISIS outweighed legitimate concerns about the graphic nature of the video. Online users can choose to view or not view this disturbing content.
