Nicolle Wallace on Trump Jr.: ‘Pathetic’ For ‘Guy Who Kills Baby Elephants For Kicks’ to Lecture Comey
While President Donald Trump refrained from live-tweeting the testimony of former FBI Director James Comey today, his eldest son took the reins and proceeded to fire off tweet after tweet during today’s Senate Intelligence hearing.
In response to Donald Trump Jr.’s numerous negative tweets about the ex-FBI chief, MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace felt Don Jr. was hardly the best messenger to be delivering a condemnation of Comey’s character. She also noted how it shows that POTUS doesn’t have many backers left in Washington.
“This idea of the son as the only person sort of channeling this president in attacking the character of Comey, I think, speaks for itself,” Wallace stated. “This is a president without a lot of defenders in Congress, without a lot of defenders in the law enforcement community.”
She then brought up the Trump scion’s love of big game hunting as a reason he shouldn’t be personally maligning Comey.
“For a guy who kills baby elephants for kicks to be giving James Comey a lesson in character and strength of character is rich at best and pathetic at worst,” she said.
Tell us how you really feel, Nicolle!
