President Donald Trump was back on a Twitter warpath Friday morning. His target? Former FBI Director James Comey.
In a Tweet sent at 7:56 a.m. ET, the President blasted Comey over his handling of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails.
“Wow, looks like James Comey exonerated Hillary Clinton long before the investigation was over…and so much more. A rigged system!”

Trump was referencing a joint statement issued by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on Thursday — which charges that Comey issued his statement exonerating Clinton before properly completing his probe.
In a truly shocking coincidence, the statement from Grassley and Graham was a topic on Fox & Friends this morning. At 7:38 a.m. ET, co-host Pete Hegseth asked former Congressman Jason Chaffetz the following:
“How does not every American look at this and say ‘This is a rigged system?'”
Hegseth, it appears, convinced at least one person.
