Ivanka Scolds NBC’s Peter Alexander: ‘Pretty Inappropriate’ to Ask About My Dad’s Accusers
Ivanka Trump, in an oversized winter sweater that defied the laws of physics and draped perfectly across her body, spoke to NBC’s Peter Alexander about, of all things, President Donald Trump’s sexual misconduct accusers.
Alexander sat down with Ivanka on Today for a wide-ranging interview as she took in some of the Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang.
“Do you believe your father’s accusers?” Alexander asked, to which Ivanka balked.
“I think it’s a pretty inappropriate question to ask a daughter if she believes the accusers of her father when he’s affirmatively stated that there’s no truth to it,” Ivanka replied.
“I don’t think that’s a question you would ask many other daughters,” she added. “I believe my father, I know my father.”
“I think I have that right as a daughter to believe my father.”
(By that logic, someone should ask Chelsea Clinton if she believed her dad, too.)
In the first daughter’s wide-ranging interview with NBC, she also spoke about her experience at the Winter Games, and weighed in on Trump’s proposal to arm teachers, saying ” it is an idea that needs to be discussed.”
