Anthony Weiner Just Got a New Job in Public Relations

Former Democratic Congressman Anthony Weiner will be joining the crisis communications firm MWW to advise clients currently in public relations messes of their own.

Weiner is famous for being an up-and-coming force in the Democratic Party who fell from grace in 2011 after accidentally tweeting a picture of his namesake. Weiner initially ignored the allegations, spearheaded by a new website run by Andrew Breitbart, but was forced to resign as more pictures surfaced.

Last year he announced a run for mayor of New York City, during which it emerged that he had been sexting a porn star named Sydney Leathers under the pseudonym Carlos Danger. Unsurprisingly, he didn’t win.
