Maher on Berkeley Riots: ‘Shutting People Up’ Is a Big Problem on the Left

Bill Maher discussed the UC Berkeley riots tonight and reiterated his long-standing objections to liberal attempts on college campuses to shut down speech from people they don’t like.

Tomi Lahren said it was militant and Maher admitted that “shutting people up… is a problem on the left.”

Michael Eric Dyson pushed back by bringing up the kind of “venom” that Milo Yiannopoulos spreads and how President Trump has basically amplified voices like his into the mainstream.
