Stephanie Ruhle: Tillerson Didn’t Call Trump a Moron, He Called Him a F*cking Moron

MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle, who contributed the the bombshell NBC News story that reported Rex Tillerson referred to President Donald Trump as a “moron,” said her source said the remark was actually a little…spicier.

Tillerson made an unscheduled statement on Wednesday, and rejected NBC’s report that he ever threatened to resign from the administration — though he did not deny he ever called Trump a “moron.”

According to the NBC report, Tillerson referred to Trump as a “moron” in a meeting at the Pentagon with senior administration officials in July, after Trump reportedly compared Afghanistan military strategy to the renovations of an upscale Manhattan restaurant.

Well, Ruhle appeared on MSNBC after Tillerson’s remarks, and made the following clarification:

“My source didn’t just say that he called him a moron,” Ruhle said. “He said an f-ing moron.”

Ruhle also pointed that Tillerson did not deny in his remarks that he called the president a “moron,” and gave some more detail on the secretary of state’s relationship with Trump.
