‘I’m Hot, I’m Mad, I’m Angry’: Biden Gives Campaign-Like Speech on Labor Day

video

bidenVice President Joe Biden gave a fiery labor-focused speech in Pittsburgh today on Labor Day, and it very much sounded like a speech being given by someone running for president.

Biden hasn’t yet committed to a run, but he spoke very forcefully about the plight of American workers in the current economy and how mothers and fathers have to make the hard, long walk to tell their children they lost their jobs.

“I’m hot!” Biden exclaimed. “I acknowledge that. I’m mad! I’m angry!”

He railed against how the rich disproportionately benefit and how they own a significant percentage of all the wealth in America. He said, “The level playing field doesn’t exist!”

Following his speech, Biden participated in a parade where lots of people enthusiastically shouted at him to run for president.
