Donald Trump Blasts Barbara Walters’ Criticism Of His $5 Mil Deal

On Thursday’s The View, Barbara Walters didn’t parse words when responding to Donald Trump‘s much-publicized $5 million offer to President Barack Obama. Walters called Trump a friend, but said he’s making a “fool” of himself. “Stop it,” she said.

Trump took to Twitter to respond, characteristically dismissing the criticism:

Walters addressed the following message to Trump on Thursday morning:

You and I have known each other for many years — and you know that I am your friend, and I think you are a brilliant businessman, and you are great on television, and you have a fascinating personality. Donald, you’re making a fool of yourself. You’re not hurting Obama. You’re hurting Donald, and that hurts me because you’re a decent man. Stop it. Get off it, Donald.
