Kellyanne Conway: Trump and Obama Are Speaking Regularly
In two interviews this morning, Kellyanne Conway said that President-elect Donald Trump is speaking regularly with President Obama during this transition period.
Chuck Todd asked Conway about what Trump’s agenda will be where Cuba is concerned. Conway said, “Leaders listen, they learn, they take the counsel of many people… He’s even been talking to President Obama.”
She told Todd, “They’ve been talking regularly on a number of issues. They talked just yesterday.”
Todd pressed for details, but all Conway said is that they spoke for around 45 minutes and that Trump “very much enjoys” speaking with the president about serious issues facing the country.
On ABC’s This Week, Conway also briefly mentioned the conversation yesterday, using it to slam new recount efforts pushed by Jill Stein (and joined onto by the Clinton campaign).

She said this could “interfere with the last eight weeks of President Obama’s legacy.”
