On Tuesday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) criticized President Donald Trump for expecting fast action from the Democratic process.
“Our new president, of course, has not been in this line of work before,” McConnell said. “And I think he had excessive expectations about how quickly things happen in the democratic process.”
In a Wednesday afternoon Twitter dispatch, Trump blasted the Kentucky Senator for failing to pass an Obamacare repeal.
“Senator Mitch McConnell said I had ‘excessive expectations,’ but I don’t think so,” Trump wrote. “After 7 years of hearing Repeal & Replace, why not done?”
