Trump Tweets on FL School Shooting: No One ‘Should Ever Feel Unsafe in an American School’

President Donald Trump has commented on a developing story about a school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
My prayers and condolences to the families of the victims of the terrible Florida shooting. No child, teacher or anyone else should ever feel unsafe in an American school.

“My prayers and condolences to the families of the victims of the terrible Florida shooting,” Trump tweeted. “No child, teacher or anyone else should ever feel unsafe in an American school.”
The president also tweeted that he spoke with Florida Governor Rick Scott and is in touch with and “working closely” with law enforcement to contain the situation:
