Chris Cuomo Battles Lewandowski Over ‘Sh*thole’ Remarks: He Said ‘I Don’t Want Brown People Here’!

Chris Cuomo battled Corey Lewandowski on CNN tonight over President Trump‘s reported “shithole” comments.

Lewandowski repeatedly said they don’t know what happened because they weren’t there, but Cuomo pointed to the statements from a number of legislators. When Lewandowski pointed to a statement from two Republican senators, Cuomo reminded him they waffled and simply said they “do not recall.”

Cuomo charged that it “sounds just like something he would say,” and noted the White House did not initially deny it.

Lewandowski pointed to when former President Barack Obama reportedly called Libya a “shitshow,” but Cuomo said that is in no way the same thing, telling him, “You’re trying to confuse the standard.”

This, he argued, was the President’s message: “I don’t want brown people here. Why do we gotta have all these brown people? Why can’t we have more people from Norway?”

At one point during their clash, Lewandowski went back to comments Ted Kennedy made in 1965 and asked Cuomo if he would denounce him.
