Franklin Graham to Fox & Friends Viewers: ‘Run, Because The Devil Wants to Destroy You’

Franklin Graham appeared on Fox & Friends Tuesday to scare the bejeezus out of the morning show’s viewers.

The conversation revolved mostly around Satan. Graham, son of the Rev. Billy Graham and one of the most prominent evangelicals in America, was on to discuss news Pope Francis is considering a change to the Lord’s Prayer, citing what he says is a mistake in the translation.

The proposed change: replacing the line “lead us not into temptation” with, “abandon us not into temptation.”

Graham said the Pope “might have a point here,” noting the line was studied for 16 years before it was determined a mistake.

“God can allow temptation, but isn’t it Satan that leads you into temptation?” Fox & Friends host Ainsley Earhardt asked.

“We have to understand that there is an evil one out there, there is a devil, who wants to destroy your life and my life,” Graham explained. “And he’ll do everything he can to put us into temptation and destroy our lives.”

“There is an evil one out there who wants to destroy you and me and every one of us, and we want to avoid temptation” he continued. “The Bible tells us that we are to flee temptation. Some people like to get real close to the line and dabble in it.”

“I tell you just run, because the devil wants to destroy you,” he concluded.
