Trump Swipes at ‘Fake News’ in Speech to Farmers: ‘They Can Make Anything You Do Look Bad’

During his speech to farmers today, President Donald Trump went out of his way to jab the “fake news” again.

Trump first gave a shoutout to Congressman Steve Scalise (R-LA) and his remarkable recovery after being shot.

He then moved onto the “tremendous humanitarian and security crisis at our southern border” but started to go on a tangent about the “fake news” and how they’ll “say ‘he got no standing ovations’… ’cause everybody stayed standing.”

“Oh, they’ll do it, they’ll figure something out,” the President said before the audience cheered.

“They can figure it out,” he continued. “They can take the best thing––I go home, I say, ‘Darling, I did such a great job, wait till you see the news tomorrow on something.’ North Korea, China… this, that. They can make anything you do look bad.”
