Fox’s Shep Smith Is NOT Happy With His Cable Company

video

Fox News’ Shepard Smith thinks the buzz surrounding Verizon’s announcement that it will offer the 14GB and 16GB iPhone 4 next month is all well and good and whatever, but. Can we talk about how much his cable company sucks?

During this afternoon’s Studio B, Smith said, “I wish we could do something about the cable company, because I’m much more concerned about the cable company and the fact that I only get one of ‘em and they are horrible. Horrible. Horrible.”

Smith continued: “They’re horrible. I mean, I’m not going to go there because I’ll get kicked off television and stuff, but it’s just so horrible. I mean the cable… I mean. Whatever. I’m sorry. But when ESPN freezes and you can’t get the NFL Network anymore… ” Yes, but. Is it horrible?

Careful Shep, you don’t want to be accused of inciting violence.

Shep is an asshat. Always has been. But he is right cable companies suck. Mine does. Mostly because they have a government monopoly for any given area. Once again government saves us from good service.

Phone Companies are some of those that have been allowed too many mergers . The bigger the company the worst the service . There should be much more competition . Big corps buy up all the Competition .

There should be wireless reform . Like refund from companies for dropped calls . They can deliver a service but don’t have to be accountable if it is crap . They should have to deliver 100% of what they sell . But the Government has allowed them loop holes and fine print not to be accountable .
I drop calls all the time . And they could care less . And there is only one carrier in my area . Verizon . Cause they have bought out all the rest here . Its Unconstitutional .

I ditched Comcast for DirecTV and have never looked back.

If they fire Keith Olbermann, I might.

I’ve got Comcast and it has NFL Network.. I hate them, but there’s no other choice. I wouldn’t pay for cable if it didn’t at least get NFL on there, otherwise it’s 90-100 channels and nothing worth watching except ESPN, NFL Network, and A&E when they have those crazy Hoarders and Intervention people on. It does screw up randomly though, including once during Sunday night football, just at the end of that ridiculous Eagles comeback on the Giants.

Shep Smith will show some spine when he can muster the courage to complain about the cable channel that he’s on.

    Corruption is Fox Right-wing Propaganda.

Report on THAT Shep, and you’ll have real respect.

The lack of any real business competition in the cable TV field has lead to ridiculous cable fees. I wonder why ol’ShimP didn’t say something about that?

  • Bronco46

Shep is right! More competition is needed in the cable business.
