Half-Indian Boy Booted From Trump Rally Tells Maddow He Wants an Apology From Campaign
“What I will say,” said Jake Anantha to MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, “is I’m definitely not a Donald Trump supporter anymore.”
The 18-year-old was on The Rachel Maddow Show tonight after being escorted from a Trump rally in North Carolina. He previously spoke to CNN about it, but appeared again with his father tonight to tell Maddow that he wants an apology.
He claimed that a security guard told him he could not be at the rally because he was a known protester who was recognized by multiple people. Anantha maintained that he had never been to a rally before and was a Trump supporter before being asked to leave.
He said that he believes himself to have been racially profiled, which is all the more shocking given that Trump has been speaking about racial equality all week.
