President Trump was cleaning up his recent Twitter history after his candidate Luther Strange lost to challenger Roy Moore in the Alabama GOP primary.
Early Tuesday morning, Trump sent out a tweet at 6:31 AM saying, “ALABAMA, get out and vote for Luther Strange – he has proven to me that he will never let you down! #MAGA.”
He also sent out a tweet that said Strange was shooting up the polls since his endorsement and urging voters to “finish the job” and vote for Strange.
Now when you click on the link to the tweet, it reads “Sorry, the page does not exist!”
Trump also deleted a tweet Tuesday night when he mistakenly urged Moore to ‘WIN in Nov’ in a congratulatory message when the election for the Alabama Senate seat is actually in December.
Strange was endorsed by the president as well as Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, but staunch Trump supporters Steve Bannon, Sarah Palin, Dr. Ben Carson, and Dr. Sebastian Gorka backed the winning candidate.
