Chris Cuomo Rails Against Fox News Primetime Hosts For Outraged Rhetoric, Mocks Tucker’s ‘Pissed Puppy Dog Puss’

CNN’s Chris Cuomo last night lamented the increasing ugliness in American political discourse, and as examples he brought up the Fox News primetime line-up.

Cuomo said there’s a race to the bottom going on in American life with both the right and the left appealing to baser instincts. He pointed to President Donald Trump as the prime example, but said that it’s a problem on the left too.

He also said there are certain elements of the media egging it on:

“The media can be a feedback mechanism for what’s out there. With Trump it doesn’t create the energy, it harnesses it, turbo-charges it. That’s Fox.”

And then Cuomo called out the Fox News primetime hosts one by one.

He brought up Sean Hannity‘s “righteous indignation,” teeing up a clip of Hannity railing against “the language of the left… reaching new lows on an hourly basis.”

Cuomo then brought up Laura Ingraham and her “curled lip of disgust,” followed by a clip of her talking about a “chaos strain” in the Democratic establishment.

The only one Cuomo didn’t show a clip of was Tucker Carlson, merely just a still image. For as Cuomo explained, “He doesn’t have to say anything, he’s just got that pissed puppy dog puss that he has on his face.”
