Giuliani Insists Firing Mueller Not Trump’s ‘Plan B or Plan C’ Even if Probe Doesn’t Wrap Up
During an interview on the Ingraham Angle Wednesday night, President Donald Trump‘s lawyer Rudy Giuliani insisted that firing Special Counsel Robert Mueller is not in the best interests of the president even if the Russian probe lingers on.
Giuliani started by bashing the Russian probe, noting the investigation is “not good for the American people.”
He continued on: “The special counsel’s office doesn’t understand they are interfering with things bigger than them or us.”
Host Laura Ingraham then asked if what he meant when he said he had a “Plan B and a Plan C’ if “Mueller doesn’t wrap this up.”
“What is the Plan B and C, Rudy,” Ingraham asked “Firing Mueller…?”
Giuliani insisted it was not.
“Then we start from day one again as the president pointed out,” Giuliani opined. “What we are going to to do if find out what legal remedies are available to us, including if they subpoena us…challenge the subpoena.”
