RNC chairman Reince Priebus was a guest on Fox & Friends Tuesday morning, and shared a series of digital Valentine’s Day cards that those who lean to the right can send to their friends and lovers, featuring some of the best-known Democrats.
“Love is in the air, can’t you feel it? Host Brian Kilmeade asked. “Especially on Capitol Hill.”
Kilmeade introduced Priebus, who showed some of the cards to Kilmeade and Gretchen Carlson, including one featuring a picture of President Obama and the message, “If this was a successful year for you, there’s a 5% tax on this card.”
Others included a card with Joe Biden (“This Valentine has not been approved by anyone in the White House”) and Anthony Weiner (“If anyone asks, I didn’t send you this Valentine”).
“It’s meant in good fun, but I think we also make a few political points, as well, of course,” Priebus said.
“Why not?” Kilmeade asked. “Valentine’s Day, if nothing else, is political.”
The cards can be sent for free at GOPValentine.com.
