Hillary Clinton Rips Trump for Inaction on Cyber Threats: ‘The Russians Are Still Coming’
Failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton went after President Donald Trump today, accusing him of inaction regarding the looming threat of Russia and their insistence on interfering in our elections.
The remarks came via a tweet, in which she also linked to a story by The Washington Post that quotes Admiral Michael S. Rogers, the commander of the U.S. Cyber Command, saying that the president has given him no instructions to go after Russian cyber-threats.
I say this as a former Secretary of State and as an American: the Russians are still coming. Our intelligence professionals are imploring Trump to act. Will he continue to ignore & surrender, or protect our country?https://t.co/Z6uaSCgdF6

Clinton cited her time as Secretary of State as proof of her expertise on the matter.
“I say this as a former Secretary of State and as an American: the Russians are still coming,” she wrote. “Our intelligence professionals are imploring Trump to act. Will he continue to ignore & surrender, or protect our country?”
Admiral Rogers has long warned that Russian cyber-threats will continue to plague our nation, especially in the forthcoming midterm elections.
“We’re taking steps, but we’re probably not doing enough,” he said. “[Putin] has clearly come to the conclusion that ‘there’s little price to pay here and therefore I can continue this activity.’ If we don’t change the dynamic here, this is going to continue.”
