New York Man Arrested, Charged With Threatening to Kill Ilhan Omar

A New York man was arrested after allegedly threatening to kill Congresswoman Ilhan Omar.

Per CNN, Patrick Carlineo made a disturbing and threatening call to Omar’s office:

During the call, an individual, who identified himself as Pat Carlineo, said to a staff member: “Do you work for the Muslim Brotherhood? Why are you working for her, she’s a (expletive) terrorist. I’ll put a bullet in her (expletive) skull.”

Omar’s office referred the threat to the US Capitol Police, which began an investigation with the FBI.

Carlineo sounded angry during the call but provided the spelling of his name and contact information, the affidavit said.

When interviewed by authorities, Carlineo reportedly said he “hates radical Muslims in our government” and that he’s a fan of President Donald Trump‘s.

He is being charged with threatening to assault and murder a U.S. official.
