John Oliver Tries to Place Anti-Sexual Harassment Ad During O’Reilly Factor

For the third time this year, John Oliver and the team behind Last Week Tonight have bought commercial time on Fox News in an attempt to send a message to President Donald Trump. After previously buying local spots (the type you purchase from the local cable company) to speak directly to POTUS about nuclear weapons and health care, Oliver and company bought a new ad attempting to teach Trump about sexual harassment.

Like the previous two ads, the new one (which the show is trying to run in New York and Washington, D.C.) features the “catheter cowboy” character, which — as ridiculous as it seems — is a parody of a genuine commercial. The impetus for the new one was Trump’s defense of Bill O’Reilly in light of the latter’s multiple sexual harassment lawsuit settlements. The spot, which as of Last Week Tonight airing on Sunday night had not yet been accepted, dealt with the basics of what constitutes sexual harassment and the negative consequences of the president defending O’Reilly.

Check it out above.
