Hillary Details Her Husband’s White House Job If She’s Elected

Bill ClintonDuring a rally in Kentucky over the weekend, Democratic hopeful Hillary Clinton told the revved up crowd that she plans to put her husband, Bill Clinton, “in charge of revitalizing the economy.”

“Because, you know, he knows how to do it. Especially in places like coal country and inner-cities and other parts of our country that have really been left out, ” she added according to The New York Times.

At an earlier rally, Clinton said that she wanted to get her husband  to “come out of retirement” to help put voters back to work.  Hillary Clinton came under criticism earlier this year regarding her comments about coal miners.

“How you could say you are going to put a lot of coal miners out of jobs, and then come in here and tell us how you’re going to be our friend?” a jobless coal worker confronted Clinton at a campaign event earlier this month.  She has since disavowed her comments about putting coal miners out of work, saying “It was a misstatement because what I was saying is the way things are going now, they will continue to lose jobs. It didn’t mean that we were going to do it.”

Kentucky’s primary is tomorrow.
