Bill O’Reilly: Rep. Peter King Is More Powerful Than Rep. John Boehner

video

On Fox News Channel’s O’Reilly Factor last night, host Bill O’Reilly told senior political analyst Brit Hume that, in his opinion, New York Representative Peter King holds more power in the Republican party than incoming Speaker of the House John Boehner. More like the O Rly Factor, amiright?

Among the reasons O’Reilly cited for this assessment are King’s proximity to The Media™ as a New Yorker and the fact that, as O’Reilly sees it, King will continually voice his opposition to the President’s views concerning contentious issues like homeland security.

Hume, however, wasn’t so convinced, pointing to King’s demonstrated lack of hardcore partisanship, predicting instead that King will hold serious (rather than, we suppose, partisan and seriously fun) hearings concerning issues like border control and “Muslims”. O’Reilly was skeptical, to say the least.

The two did agree, however, that The New York Times is “virulently” attacking King, with Hume asking “what do you expect from that newspaper in this day and age?” You mean besides the occasional realization that the outer boroughs, well, exist? Tough to say.

Brit Hume has always been the voice of reason….

O’Reilly…he is still in the job of promoting his show.

I do miss Brit… truly an icon.

Congressman King realises what a threat the Immigrants to the U.S. from the Middle East are to national security as they have a crowded Time Square as one of their targets:

The O’Reilly Factor seems to be turning up the cringe factor as time goes by . Be nice if he would stop asking two minute questions and allowing fifteen seconds for an answer ( and then jumping in on that ) . It gets old listening to people talk over each other . It seems to be the standard all over now .
The Hume Factor would be nice .

Looks like you guys are tired of being misinformed.

What Billo really means is King is crazier, of which I totally agree.

Yep… but it looks like MSNBC is not going anywhere so I’ll just have to continue being misinformed by them. O… were you talking about something else???

I tire of the talking over as well, not just with Bill-o, but also Chris Matthews. The worst, I think, however, is Greta O’Van Susteren. No one has ever finished a sentence on her show. Since the Drop Out Governor is often a guest, that can be a good thing, of course, but it is still irritating.

Could O’Reilly get any fuller of himself? Things are better on the border?! Didn’t another BPA get murdered in the last few weeks? Is the border any less porous, and dangerous than it was during the Bush administration? By what standard are they making these comments? Illegal alien migration and the lack of border security rise to the standard of criminal gross-negligence by this government.
